DescriptionThis small knife was likely used as a tool for domestic tasks. Its size makes it unlikely that this knife could have been an effective armament. Natural materials such as stone and shell were often used in tools made around the world. The sharp edges natural to or enhanced on fragments of shell and stone made them effective cutting implements.
