DescriptionThis object is one from a set of seven bronze bells (called zhong) made during the Eastern Zhou dynasty. Each bell is larger than the next and all of them feature ornately decorated knobs. The bells each produce two different tones depending on where they are struck with a mallet. The shape and size of each bell is precise and guarantees a consistent tone every time.On View
