DescriptionThis hand embroidered temple banner was part of a set of eight that would have hung in a Taoist temple as an aide to worshipers. Pictured is He Xiangu, one of the Eight Immortals and the only female immortal. She is surrounded on both sides with a series of smaller female figures.
